Melinda, my condolences to you and your family on the passing of Leslie. I worked with Leslie back during the Sunbury days, and i always enjoyed the stories he had to tell every time he came in to work! Leslie was always working on an old truck, or a tractor on the farm on his days off. Either fixing or painting something, while still finding time to spend with his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Les. Although I haven't seen him since we were in our teens, memories come flooding back of a generous, happy, fun-loving soul. He has left way too soon and will be missed but never forgotten.

Les was one of the most amazing people I am proud to say I knew. He was so kind and loving, he would take the shirt off his back to help you. I was thinking about him not too long ago about when I was in Hampton, I had a flat tire and I called him told him that I needed his help, he jumped right into his truck and came to my rescue. There are many more kind gestures that he did for those he loved.
I am so very sorry that this kind soul is no longer with us, please know that the memories he’s made with us won’t be gone.

It is with sadness and disbelief that I'm reading of Les' passing. He was a great guy. We met as truck driver's in around Sunbury Transport city division and my/our time driving for Murray Calder. Les was always very helpful. He was a great listener and he had a sincere contagious sense of humour. We had many conversations and I along with many will miss him.
