Obituary of Ivan Albert Upham

It is with great sadness that the family of Ivan Albert Upham announces his passing, which occurred on February 14, 2023 at his home. Born in Cumberland Bay, NB, on December 7, 1938, he was a son of the late Edward and Wilberta (Foshay) Upham.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Rowena of Apohaqui;  his children: Wendy Upham (Allen Weeks) of St. Stephen, Jill Upham of Quispamsis, and Judy Stradeski (Lamont) of Regina, SK; his step-children: Roy Sharpe (Ada) of Nackawic, Ron Sharpe (Gennyne) of Smiths Creek and Sheryl LeBouthillier (Gaetan) of Poodiac; his grandchildren: Katie, Zoe, Jesse, Layla, Valerie, Rodney, Jalise, Travis, Mikelle, Marcia, Hunter, Spencer, and Kennedy; his many great-grandchildren; his brothers: Myron Upham (Della) of St. Stephen, and Harold Upham of Coles Island; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Ivan was predeceased by his first wife, Evangeline (Van); his brother, Leslie Upham; and his nephew, Dana Upham.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176), from where a visitation will take place on Friday, February 17 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A celebration of Ivan’s life will take place on Saturday, February 18 at 11:00am from the Wallace Community Chapel.
