Obituary of Joyce Bernetta Wedge

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Bernetta (Prince) Wedge, wife of husband, John (Jack). Joyce was born in Nauwigewauk and spent her early years in Sussex. After moving to Halifax in the 70’s, she became a professional insurance claims manager before moving to Toronto with her husband to continue her career there.

Her passion was cross stitching and many of her creations are gracing peoples’ homes today. 

Besides her husband, Joyce is also survived by her brother, John, his wife, Wendy, and his daughters, Kim, Carrie, and Erica.

Joyce was predeceased by her mother, Margaret, and her father, Walter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Baha’i service will take place from the Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, March 25 at 2:00pm.
