Obituary of Tina Galloway
It is with heavy hearts and appreciation for a life well lived that the family of Tina Anna Galloway announce her unexpected passing at the Sussex Health Centre on April 10, 2023. Tina was born in Miramichi on September 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Ernest and Olive (Allison) Duguay. She was the loving wife of the late William (Bill) Galloway.
Tina will be deeply missed by her two daughters: Karin Robinson of Saint John, NB and Kathy (Steve) Smith of Woodstock, ON; one son; eight grandchildren: Riley and Brayden Robinson, Andrew, Twins: Emily and Michael and Amy Smith; her great granddaughter, Parker; She is also survived by her brother, Ralph; her three sisters: Glenna Lee (Gordon), Norma Hachey (Billy) and Paula Johnston (Fred); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her siblings: Freeman, Reginald, Sterling, Ronald, Lornie and Gary Duguay and Phyllis Carey.
Tina was a talented seamstress and an avid bridge and bingo player. She enjoyed the weekly card nights and Friday morning breakfast with her friends.
The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Allaby and the nurses at the Sussex Health Centre Emergency Dept. Also, a big thank you to her caregivers, Yolanda Carr and Nina Smith for their care and compassion. It will never be forgotten.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sussex, NB. The interment will take place in Kirk Hill Cemetery at a later date.
