To Margie’s family,
We are sorry to hear of Margie’s passing. We remember fondly our visit to your farm with my mother, your Aunt Dot. We were treated to great conversation and a delicious tea with you that afternoon. That was my mother’s last time visiting her home town. Thank you for giving her, and us, such great memories.
With sincere sympathy,

Our sympathy to the entire Tait Family.
Margaret was a kind and caring person and always had a positive attitude.
When visiting her she was always the first off the mark with a string of questions about your family before you could get a word in to ask about her family.
She loved her family very much and was very proud of them all.

Aunt Margaret to me and Mom to you…she was a very special lady. Always cheerful, smiling and serving up food at any time…even if you dropped by for an unexpected visit. I remember my mom not wanting to visit at mealtime so Margaret would not have any “extra work” but no matter she would serve up something …always thinking I’d get in trouble for accepting her gracious hospitality.
My heart goes out to each of you at this time…

Our sympathy to the Tait family at this time. Marg was a warm, vivacious person that always had time to ask about your family.
Jane always got a kick out of Marg when she worked at Delaval. Marg would roll in, Drop off her cheque for the months supplies and be out the door before the dust settled. I enjoyed the coffee and cookies when Murray and I were dickering on a piece of equipment at the kitchen table .She will be missed.

Aunt Margaret, you will always be remembered as the most wonderful hostess! You inherited the precious gift of hospitality from your mother and always had a lunch ready for anyone who dropped by, no matter what time it was. I will always remember the first apple pie I had at your house when I was about 5 or 6 years old, with your delicious sweet chunky apples. I wanted to eat the whole pie. You were a wonderful sister to my father George and to Uncle Don. You made our families feel special and welcome every time we visited. The first time I was ever on a horse was at your farm and you hugged me when I said I was scared. Those horses were pretty BIG to a little girl. Thanks for the wonderful visit last October when I was home from Ontario. As usual, you made us a lunch with delicious cookies and squares and some very strong tea! We had a great day looking at photo albums and telling precious stories of your grandchildren and great grandchildren. No one will ever fill your shoes! You will be much missed.

To the Tait Family, please accept my sympathy on Margaret's passing. I have known this lovely, gracious lady for a number of years through the coach trips we took. Actually, I was both saddened and shocked to learn of Margaret's passing as I had enjoyed a chat with her in the grocery store last Thursday. We often enjoyed a chat together while shopping. It is said that the last time you see or speak with someone could be the last time you see or speak with that person. Margaret always appeared happy to see me and talk with me. I am very happy we did see each other last week - it was truly meant to be. My prayers are with you all.

Harley, Gladys and now your mom. Your stretch of the Back Road is seeing some very sad changes. I can’t remember not knowing Margaret. One of my earliest memories is riding with Allison Marks on his mail route and Margaret and Danny waiting at the mailbox to meet me for a day of play, one of many.
She has been a good friend to Mum for decades, and was always so kind to, and considerate of Gram. Nothing brightened her day like a visit from Margaret. A visit with Margaret and her rooster was always a highlight for the boys.
Her passing leaves a big void for family and friends alike, but what a treasure trove of great memories she has left for so many. What a fine lady she was! Condolences to All

Margaret was the Salt of the Earth. She will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. Margaret always made everyone feel that they were number one. She knew how to look after everyone. Everyone looked forward to visiting your place, and we felt blessed when we left. Food and laughter were always in plenty. No one ever had an empty plate. People were in plenty and kept returning week after week. The fond memories are forever grained and will never be forgotten.
Our family; Karen, Andrew, Mark & Alan send our deepest condolences to you. Aunt Margaret and your place was home to George and Vivian's MacLennan's family.
