Ethel Ruth "Rose" Wilson was born in Saint John on September 9, 1913; she was the daughter of the late John and Miriam (McCrow) Bramble and was the wife of the late William "Willie" Wilson who passed away in 1997. Rose was raised in Crafts Cove, NB, graduated from Normal School in 1934 and taught in schools in Labrador and in both Queens and Kings Counties. Rose led a Christian life, reading her Bible daily and loved quoting scripture. She enjoyed reciting poetry, listening to music, reading and quiet walks. Rose enjoyed crafts such as: crocheting, knitting, sewing, hooking rugs, and quilting; she was a retired School Teacher and a member of Sussex Baptist Church. Mrs. Ethel Ruth "Rose" Wilson of Berwick Place, Berwick, NB, passed away with her family at her side at the Sussex Health Centre on November 25, 2007 at the age of 94 .
