I am so sorry to read about Laura's passing. I first met her when I was Rector at the Anglican Church in Apohaqui. We would have lovely visits and we used a lot of paper communicating back and forth. Even when I moved away from the parish, she continued to send Christmas cards always finding me in whichever parish I happened to be.in. I will certainly miss that first card of the season every year. I was blessed to have known Laura. May she rest in peace.

Your smile that could light up a room will be missed by everyone in the family. I looked forward to every birthday and always wondered how you would find a way to put butter on their nose, but she always found a way. The little notes that she would write to each member of family and always wanting to share a laugh. Laura never forgot a holiday and I always looked forward to receiving her card no matter where I was at Christmas. We love you Laura and we will always have all of the memories that we created and will never be forgotten.

She was my Mother-in-law's room mate many years ago at Primrose Cottage and more recently became a good friend to my Mom when she was there. I always took treats for everyone when I visited and Laura always met me with a smile and a thumbs up.

To Laura’s Family: So sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. During my eight years of Ministry in Apohaqui Area we formed a special friendship. I had Communion with her every month and visited with her on any other special occasion. She was my special guest at my retirement gathering and she kept in contact with me on every other special occasion. She had a deep love for her Lord and always had that welcoming smile. I am so Glad that i had the Privilege and Honor to get to know such a Wonderful Beautiful soul! I got to know Laura for 20 years. We sure did have some good times, many Holidays, Playing Bingo together..many laughs and jokes. Every Birthday at Primrose Laura enjoyed the tradition of buttering your nose, wether it be Staff or a Resident you got buttered! I Will Cherish each and every memory made at Primrose Cottage Special Care Home.

It was a privilege to get to know Laura as I visited her and shared Holy Communion with her over the past four years at her home in Primrose Cottage. She always had a smile and a kind thought to write me about. The ladies of the Church of the Ascension in Apohaqui will remember her fondly. Laura always sent a note of thanks to them for the Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving baskets I delivered to her from the ACW. My condolences to her room-mate Eileen, Art and Lorraine, and all her family. God give her peace, and ears to hear the angels sing.
