Obituary of Ralph Alexander Ross

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Ralph Alexander Ross announce his passing on November 26, 1998 at the age of 75.

Born in Cassidy Lake on October 3, 1923, he was the son of the late John A. and Marion (Hosford) Ross and the husband of the late Ada Mary (Price) Ross who passed away last year.

Ralph was a retired Civil Servant.  He served overseas in World War II and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20.

He will live on in the hearts of his daughter, Jeanette Cosman and her husband Walter of Sussex; his son, Gary Ross and his wife Jo Ann of Sydney, NS; his brother, Donnie Ross of Norton; his sisters: Dora Reicker and her husband Donnie of Springfield, Irene Campbell and her husband Cyril of Norton, Mabel MacKereth of Toronto and Evelyn Gilcash and her husband Earl of BC; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as several nephews and nieces.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation was held on Friday, November 27, 1998 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. 

A service celebrating Ralph’s life was held from St. Andrews United Church on Saturday, November 28, 1998 at 11:00 am.
