Obituary of Judith Mary Wilkins

It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Mary Wilkins announces her passing, which occurred on October 18, 2023 at Kiwanis Nursing Home in Sussex, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on May 25, 1949, she was a daughter of the Late William and Frances (Doucette) Marks.

Judy retired from the Bank of Montreal as a Senior Loans officer in 1994. She then spent the next 10 years in the Caribbean and Greece, while Tom finished his career with BNS. This experience provided them with friendships and memories to last a lifetime.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Tom of Youngs Cove, NB; her children: Jonathan (Shilo) Wilkins of Saint John, NB, Tracey Armstrong of Saint John, NB, and a special goddaughter, Amy; her grandchildren: Laine, Canaan, Rylan, and Jeremy (Kelsey); her sister, Janine Daley, of Saint John, NB, and her special “Ya-Ya Sisters”. Judy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Judy was predeceased by her brothers: Billy Marks and Danny Marks; her sisters: Maureen Griffin and Patsy Marks; her nephew, Jason, and her niece, Karli.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Judy’s life for friends and family will be held on October 27th, 2023 from 4:30 – 7:00pm at 972 Westfield Rd.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Kiwanis Nursing Home for their professional and compassionate care of Judy while she was a resident there.
