Obituary of Junior Bartlett

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald John Junior Bartlett announce his peaceful passing at his home on November 15, 2023 at the age of 80 after a lengthy health battle.

Born in Apohaqui, NB on February 25, 1943; he was the son of the late Donald and Mary (O’Quinn) Bartlett and the husband of the late Linda (Smith) Bartlett who passed away in 2013.

Junior worked as a house painter for years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. 

Junior will be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Ralph Bartlett and his wife Ann of Searsville, Russell Bartlett and his wife Gloria of Sussex, Beverly Bartlett and his wife Terry of Sussex and Gary Bartlett and his wife Shelley of Apohaqui; his sisters: Hazel Gervan and her husband Gerry of Ottawa, Ruth Kirk of Apohaqui, Gail Johnston and her husband Leverne of Searsville, Sylvia Lewis and her husband Rick of Norton and April MacDonald and her husband Len of Drurys Cove; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and loving wife, he is predeceased by his son, Jamie Lee who passed away in 2000.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). At Junior’s request no visitation or funeral will be held and he will be laid to rest with his family in Lester Cemetery, Lower Millstream on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00pm.
