Obituary of Judy Jordan
In the early morning hours of Thursday, November 30, 2023, Judy Irene Jordan passed away peacefully in her home with the love and care of her family. Judy was 70 years old.
Judy was born in Middleton NS; to loving parents Earle and Barbara Spidle on March 5, 1953. Growing up in Wilmot with 3 younger brothers Alan, Eric and Kirk. After graduating from a Nursing program in 1972, She married the love of her life Myles January 5, 1974 and together they went on to raise 2 children Grant and Arron; have 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Judy was an avid seamstress, creating smiles on the faces of many brides through the years. Working in a small sewing shop in Kingston NS, before settling in Sussex NB in 1991 and working for Black’s Fashions for over 15 years. After her retirement, Judy spent time creating and planning the Convoy for Wishes in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. She loved her crafts and the time spent attending local craft fairs. Judy was full of love and no matter the circumstance always had a smile on her face.
Judy is survived by her husband Myles Jordan; Son Grant (Naomi) of Piccadilly NB, Daughter Arron (Chris) Northrup of Roachville NB; Grandchildren Anthony (Rebecca) Luffman Sussex NB, Jessica (Travis) Luffman Halifax NS, Sam Jordan Picadilly NB, Kira (Trevor) Tabor Rothesay NB; Great Grandchildren Elizabeth, Kadhen and Wyatt. Brothers Alan (Joan) Spidle New Minas NS, Eric (Karen) Spidle Wilmot NS, Kirk (Sharon) Spidle Wilmot NS. Along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). The Family will be accepting visitors in their home at 20 Wildwood Crescent, Roachville, NB. Sat. Dec 2, 2023, 1-3 pm and 5-8pm. A private celebration of Judy’s Life will be held on Sunday Dec 3, 2023 at 2pm. It will be viewable on Facebook.
