Obituary of Vernon Leland Beach

Born in Saint John on June 7, 1947, Vernon "Leland" was the son of the late John Beach who passed away in 1988 and R. Violet (Ryder) Parlee of Lower Millstream, NB. He was the husband of the late Lois (Gregg) Beach who passed away in 2003. Leland was a woodsman who worked for Ed Murray, Scott McMillan and Royce Snider. V. Leland is survived by his mother R. Violet Parlee of Lower Millstream; three sons: Brad and his wife Jeanette of Pearsonville, Lawrence and his wife Lisa of White's Mountain and Sheldon of Sussex; three daughters: Loretta Harris and her husband Matthew of Fredericton and Laura Lee Beach and her boyfriend Jason Schaffer and Kim Riley and Darrell Day of Riverview; ten grandchildren: Olivia, John, Ryan, Devin, Cole, Chelsey, Samantha, Justin, Leland and Shelby; two sisters: Eileen Miller and her husband Bernard of Head of Millstream and Verna Mason and her husband Malcolm of Coles Island; his nieces: Iris Richard and Kim Stanley and his nephews: Bernard and Steven Miller; as well as his caring friend, Shirley Mercer and by his dog, Missy. He is predeceased by by his father, John Vernon Beach; his wife Lois (Gregg) Beach; his daughter Lisa Ellen Beach who passed away in 1986 and by two infant sisters: Della Violet and Annie Lorraine. Mr. Vernon Leland Beach of Roachville passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 3, 2012 at the age of 64. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday, March 5th from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Leland's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on March 6, 2012 at 2:00pm with a reception to follow in the Wallace Funeral Home Reception Area. Donations made in Leland's memory may be made to the Coles Island Cemetery. Interment will be in Coles Island Cemetery at a later date. The Beach Family would like to thank Dr. Stevenson for his care and support during Leland's illness.
