Jesse Eric James McGlashing of 6148 Route 111 Wards Creek, passed away suddenly at his home on September 7th, 2007 at the age of 18. Jesse McGlashing was born in Sussex on August 10, 1989 ; he was the son of the Eric and Darlene ( Henderson ) McGlashing, he is survived by his parents and his brother, Cody, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jesse was a grade 12 Student at Sussex Regional High School, he was a real people person.Jesse was an employee of the Corner Store Ultramar on Main Street and a former member of Princess Louise 8th Hussars Cadet Corp. WO McGlashing started his cadet career in Feb, 2002 with 202 Fort Malden RCACC (Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps), in Amherstburg, Ontario. He transferred in 2004 to 2859 RCACC Col John Saunders unit in Sussex. During his time in Sussex he completed a number of courses, including his Silver and Gold Star local training. He also attended different summer camp training centres in Blackdown, Ont., Argonaut, NB and Connaught, Ont. These courses included Drill and Ceremonial in 2005 and the Para Course in 2006.
