Obituary of Beryle Audrey Howe

Mrs. Beryle Audrey Howe, of Sussex, NB, passed away at her home on Monday, July 22.

Born in Belleisle Creek, NB on October 23, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Harry Russell and Lena Maude (Stackhouse) Armstrong.

Beryl is survived by her three sons, Curtis (and Theresa) of Hampton; Gerry, (and Rebecca) of Sussex, Tom (and Petra) of Fredericton; her sister, Bernice Pearson of Sussex, and her brother Glen (and Eleanor) Armstrong of Quispamsis, her grandchildren Alley, Carter, Palmer and Barrett, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents and her husband, Ivan, Beryl was predeceased by her brothers: Russell and Leroy, and her sisters: Faye, Winnifred, Yvonne and Leona.

Beryl met her husband Ivan Howe in 1954 and married him on December 28th, 1958. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. She was an incredibly thoughtful and caring mother to their three children. Her family was her number one priority, and she loved nothing more than to gather them with her sisters, brothers, and their families for long Sunday dinners at their parents’ home in Bellisle Creek.

She had an unshakeable faith in a loving God. She lived her faith every day and felt at peace in the twilight of her life.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A celebration of Beryl’s life will be held from the Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, July 26 at 2:00pm with Rev. Leo Martin officiating.

Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
