Obituary of Lloyd Eldon Adair

Lloyd was born in Rockville, NB on January 14, 1945 and was the son of Herbert and Janet (Parlee) Adair. Lloyd worked for Ford Motors for many years. After moving to Calgary he worked in construction. Lloyd enjoyed meeting new people and throughout his life he made many friendships. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be forever remembered. Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Jenn Ronald and her husband Steve of Union, Ontario; his son, Brent Adair of London, Ontario; Marilyn Riley, the mother of his children; three brothers: Douglas of Millbrook, Winston and Trena of Drurys Cove, Alton and Shirley of Adair Rd; four grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Kaylee, Briana and Ronnie; four sisters: Freda McFarlane of Adair Rd, Evelyn Price of Sussex Corner, Lorna Crothers of Drurys Cove and Joan MacAfee and her husband George of Waterford and by his companion, Delores Morrisette as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his son, Herbie; his brother, Delbert; his sister, Jean Cunningham; his brothers-in-law: Milford McFarlane, Morton Crothers and Alton Cunningham and his sisters-in-law, Betty Adair and Ina Adair. Mr. Lloyd Eldon Adair of Calgary, Alberta passed away on February 28, 2012 at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary at the age of 67. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A private family graveside service will be held from Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner in the spring.
