Ruth Olive Folkins-Ramsay was the daughter of the late Fred and Cassie (Hicks) Dunfield. Ruth was many things to many people. Of her 84 years, she spent 62 years of marriage and a lifetime of caring for others. She was a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend. She was a very social and strong minded lady, who ruled her house with a firm but loving hand. Ruth was no stranger to hard work; she worked on their farm, in the Hospital as a green girl, as a packer for Barbour Foods and as an aide at the Eastern Star Home. She was very involved her Church where she taught Sunday school and where she and her family could be found most Sundays sitting in the back row. She was active in her Community, she cared for foster children, boarded teachers, helped the Church and Community functions, was involved in the Women
