Obituary of Amy Arvada Beanlands

It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Amy Arvada Beanlands announce her passing on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Sussex Health Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Casper, Wyoming on August 9, 1949, she was the daughter of Cora (Wilson) and the late Lloyd Miller.

Amy will live on in the hearts of her loving husband, Michael Beanlands of Sussex, NB; her son, Shawn Beanlands of Sussex, NB; her mother, Cora Wishart of Balgonie, SK; her stepbrothers: Thor Wishart (Elaine) of Vancouver, BC, and Czar Wishart of Balgonie, SK; her stepmother, Barbara Miller; her half sister, Tammy Rae Miller; and her special cousin, Don Wilson. Amy is also survived by her niece, nephew, and cousins.

Besides her father, Amy was predeceased by her stepfather, Donovan Wishart; her grandmother, Amy Wilson; and her uncle, Donald Wilson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). In keeping with Amy’s wishes, all events will be held privately.
