Obituary of Linda Almon
Linda Leona Almon was born in Smith Creek on July 16, 1953; she was the daughter of the late Everett C. and Dorothy L. (Dyer) Simpson.
She enjoyed crafts, knitting, bingo, family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Clifford, her daughter, Dorci Almon and her friend Mark of Sussex; three sons: Robert of Sussex, Ronald and his wife Tanya of Penobsquis and Thomas of Sussex; four sisters: Karen Almon and her husband Ralph of Knightville, Kim Gray and her husband John of Hammondvale, Janice Reeder and her husband Gary of Sussex and Marlene McParland and her husband Mike of Alberta; two brothers: Jim Simpson and his wife Debbie of Ontario and Danny Simpson and his wife Debbie of Alberta; two sisters-in-law: Mildred Simpson of Salisbury and Bernice Simpson of Alberta; ten grandchildren; Darren, Nathan, Robin, Marcus, Michaela, Noah, Eric, Josie, Alexander and Aiden; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her daughter Tracy and by two brothers Gary and Doug Simpson.
Linda Leona Almon of Newtown passed away at the Sussex Health Center on July 28, 2007 at the age of 54.
