Wendell Phillip MacKenzie was born in Divide, Carleton on January 14, 1917; he was the son of the late Malcolm and Lillian (Jones) McKenzie. Wendell is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy, three daughters: Avis McBrine and her husband Ronald (Joe) of Glassvllle, Jeanne Earle and her husband Arnold of Roachville and Carol MacKenzie and her husband Brian Whittaker of Oromocto; four brothers: Carvel of Stickney, NB, Malcolm and his wife Ruth of Three Hills, Alberta, Wilfred of Davidson, Michigan and Jack and his wife Charlene of Saint John; five grandchildren: Jamie, Tracy, Shane, Michael and Sean; four great grand children: Devon, MacKenzie, Hannah and Ethan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Wendell was predeceased by two brothers: Fred and Lawrence and by three sisters: Martha, Lela and Hazel.
