Obituary of Walter Kyle
Walter Ephriam Kyle was born in Apohaqui on June 26, 1927; he was the son of the late Kenneth K. and Margaret V. (Tait) Kyle. Walter is survived by Georgia (Tribe), his beloved wife of 56 years, his daughter, Lois Kyle-Issenman and her husband John of Manotick, Ontario; his son, Roy Kyle and his wife Margaret of Apohaqui; five sisters: Ruby Stockton and her husband Wellman of Hamilton, Pearl Tribe of Sussex, Doris Oxton of Toronto, Jean McNevin and her husband George of Toronto and Frances Kyle of Sussex Corner; four grandchildren: Darcy Smith and her husband Chris, Heather Kyle and Pam Mallory, Michael Kyle and his wife Rona and Joshua Issenman; four great grandchildren: Michaela, Marcus, Bridget and Katie; as well as several nieces and nephews. Walter is predeceased by his only brother, Albert Kyle. Family was always first and very important to Walter. He was very involved with the Church of Ascension in Apohaqui, from the cemetery to the steeple. After lightning struck the first steeple, he put a rooster on top of the new one. Walter worked for Irving Oil for 14 years; from then on he was self employed and was one of the founders of Kingsco Transport. Mr. Walter Ephriam Kyle of 2915 Rte 121Apohaqui, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on June 27, 2007. It is with deep sadness that his family announces his death at the age of 80. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday June 29th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Anglican Church of Ascension, Apohaqui on Saturday, June 30th at 11:00am followed by the internment in the adjoining Cemetery, with Rev. Marion Lucas-Jefferies and the Rev. Leo Martin officiating. There will be a time of fellowship with the family in the Church Hall immediately following the Committal Service. In lieu of Flowers Donations made to the Memorial of the Donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
