Obituary of Barbara Goold

Mrs. Barbara Goold was born in London, Ontario on March 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ellen (Findlay) Stringer.

Barb spent her life raising her family and working along side Art at Goold's Nurseries. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church.

Barb will live on in the hearts of Arthur, her beloved husband of 51 years; three daughters: Pam Goold, Shari Brenan and her husband Fred, and Karen Goold all of Sussex, her brother, Robert Stringer of Sussex Corner, four grandchildren: Calie Northrup, Nathaniel, Katherine and Megan Brenan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Barbara Goold of St.George Street Sussex, passed away at her residence on Friday, April 20, 2007 at the age of 75, after a valiant fight with cancer.

Barb was precedeased by her infant daughter, Cynthia Louise who passed away in 1958 and by sister-in-law, Annie Stringer who passed away in 1993.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation was held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.

The Funeral Service was held from St. Pauls United Church on Thursday April 26th at 1:00pm.

In lieu of memorial donations,a personal expression of sympathy would be appreciated by the family.
