Mrs. Isabelle Jane MacDonald of Clearview Special Care Home, Hampton and formerly of Sussex, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 27, 2007 at the age of 85. Born in Southfield on July 29, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith (Burns) McLong. Isabelle is survived by her son, Wayne Pond and his wife Barbara of Louisiana; her sister in law, Pauline McLong of New Line Rd; as well as several nieces and nephews and by her special friends Honora Miller and her husband Bill of Bloomfield. Isabelle was predeceased by her first husband Jack Pond who passed away in 1980 and by her second husband Murray MacDonald who passed away 1997, her sister, Helen McLong and three brothers Fred, Raymond and LeRoy. Isabella retired after 14 years with St. Joseph's Hospital. Following her retirement in 1977 she moved to Bloomfield. She enjoyed knitting, crocheted and embroidery.
