Mrs. Inez Luella Myers of Scenic View Special Care Home, Apohaqui and formerly of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on February 17, 2007 at the age of 98. Born in Knightville on September 15, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Keziah (Paynter) Coates and the wife of the late Clayton Myers who passed away in 1982. Inez is survived by two grandchildren: Kynda Bryant of Chipman and Russell Bryant and his wife Shelly of Hampton; three great-grandchildren: Alisha, Cale and Seth; her son-in-law Arnold Bryant and his wife Ann of Sussex, as well as several nieces and nephews. Inez is predeceased by: two sisters: Albina Coates and Odessa Taylor and her husband Ernest, her brother: Edward Coates and his wife Jean and by her daughter: Alice Bryant who passed away in 1993. She was an active member of St. Paul's United Church where she was also a member of the Agape group of the UCW. Before her retirement Inez worked along side her husband Clayton in their Grocery Store in Sussex. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on from Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Philip Dallimore officiating. The interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery in the spring.
