Mrs. Muriel Mary Ryan of the Kiwanis Nursing Home and formerly of Sussex Corner, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on January 19, 2007 at the age of 86. Born in Belleisle Creek on November 28, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Hazen W. and Pearl L. (Vail) Benson and was the wife of the late Edward J. Ryan who passed away in 2002. Muriel attended Joliffs Brook school. She lived in a community surrounded by her immediate family and many relatives and close friends. In summer they spent many hours at the local swimming hole.
