Mrs. Marian Belva-Jean Hudson of 17 Everett St. NewLine, NB, and formerly of Truro, NS, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 13, 2007 at the age of 75. Born in Smithfield Guysborough County, Nova Scotia on November 28, 1931, Jean was the daughter of the late Densmore and Mabel (George) Archibald and was the wife of the late Lloyd Alvin Hudson who passed away in 1987. Jean is survived by five daughters: Sharlene Marshall and her husband Ron of Earltown, NS, Garnita VanTassell and her husband Doug of Calgary, Alberta, Sherry and Danny of Carstairs, Alberta, Mabel MacDonald and Murray Wheaton of Newline, Lisa Blair and her husband Randy of Calgary, Alberta; four sons: Ronnie Archibald of Truro, Lennie Hudson of Halifax, Larry Hudson and his wife Angela of Truro and Terry Hudson of Truro; her brother, Gary Archibald of Truro; three sisters: Marie Wile of New Germany,NS, Gloria Bartlett and her husband Ken of Truro and Myrna Matthews and her husband Gerry of Truro; her son-in-law, Bill MacDonald of Sussex, 25 grandchildren: Rhonda, Jennifer, Tara, Stacey, Dougie, Amanda, Monica, Jonathon, Brianna, Crystal, Trevor, Alicia, Sandy, Matthew, Emily, JR, Stephanie, Tiffany, Terry, Dennie, Morgan, Dawson, Shailee, Jacob and Brandon; 16 great grandchildren: Mikaela, Nicole, Owen, Gabby, Robert, Janine, Jolene, Kyla, Amanda, Damon, Malichi, Airenna, Janie, Hayley, Jordan and Cassidy; Jean was predeceased by an infant son, Trueman; her granddaughter, Kayla; her brother Leo Archibald; an infant brother, Terry and her by her sister, Ruby Sullivan. Jean spent a great deal of time cooking in woodcamps; she loved bingo, playing scratch tickets, search-a-word, reading, game shows and watching the news. Jean loved candy, chocolate, nuts and KFC. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Sunday from 11:00am until 1:30pm. and at Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young street Truro, NS (902) 893-9177 on Sunday 7-9, Monday 2-4, 7-9pm . The Funeral Service will be held from Mattatall Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Bible Hill Cemetery, Truro, NS.
