Obituary of Mark Melanson
Mr. Mark Andrew Melanson of Princess Street, Saint John, NB, passed away at his residence on December 7, 2006 at the age of 38. Born in Sussex, NB on January 29, 1968, he was the son of George Melanson and Lois (MacDonald) Melanson both of Sussex. Mark is survived by his parents; his sister Debbie Davis and her husband Don "Butch" of Saint John; his brother Paul Melanson and Valerie Walker of Sussex; two Aunts: Arletta Whiteside of Sussex, Bernice Sorckoff of Saint John; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. As a youngster, Mark was a class clown in school and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He was a quiet guy who was fun- loving, kindhearted, compassionate, thoughtful, kind and considerate. He liked music, especially George Thorogood and John Prine. He always put himself second to others and willing to help anyone he could. Mark was very devoted to his friends and family, he would do anything for them and was always there for them. He was very well liked.
