Mr. Herbert Henry Beech of Kiwanis Nursing Home and formerly of Mills Lane, Sussex, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the age of 75. Born in Saint John on January 27, 1931, he was the son of the late Herbert and Louise (Simpson) Beech and the beloved husband of the late Gertrude (Rodgerson) Beech who passed away in 1984. Herb is survived by his four daughters; Edith Johnston and her husband Hugh, Pam Beech and Brian LeBlanc, Debbie Morrell and Doug Middleton all of Sussex and Gail Mercer and her husband Anthony of Moosehorn Creek. Nine grandchildren; Cindy, Michael and his wife Dawn, Kenneth, Stephanie Muir and her husband Collin, Tammy, Jerome, Nicholas, Sally and Bradley, as well as several nieces and nephews. Herb is predeceased by his son, Stephen and by his two sisters; Kathleen Steele and Marjorie Patrick. Herb enjoyed working at his landscaping business, working outdoors in the garden, collecting stamps and coins and reading and listening to his music. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 11:00am; with the interment at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery in Saint John.
