Obituary of Frederic Bone
Frederic Watters Bone of Sussex passed away at his residence on March 12th 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 3, 1926 he was the son of the late Nicholas and Clara (Magee) Bone. Fred Graduated from Moncton High School and following service in the Canadian Army during World War II graduated from Provincial Normal School, Fredericton, NB and Bradley University, Peoria, Ill USA, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts. He taught school in NB for 30 years retiring in 1980. He is survived by Jean M. (McMillan) his beloved wife of 54 years, two brothers; Rev. Lawrence Bone and his wife Beulah of Bridgewater, NS and Wallis Bone and his wife Daisy of Moncton, his sister-in-law Nan Leger and several nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by his brother Ralph V. Bone. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home 34 Sunnyside Dr, Sussex, NB (506)433-1176. Visitation will be held at Wallace Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 2:00pm from Sussex Wesleyan Church, Chapman Drive with Rev. Peter Hayes officiating. The interment will take place at the Wesleyan Cemetery, Head of Millstream. In Lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. There will be a time of Fellowship with the family following the committal service at the Berwick Community Centre
