Mr. Gerald L. (Bud) Godwin of 28 Webster Rd Mechanic Settlement, NB passed away at his residence on March 1, 2006 at the age of 63. Born in Saint John, NB on January 20, 1943, he was the son of the late Leonard and Isabel (Bell) Godwin. He is survived by his loving wife Anne-Marie (Wills) Godwin, his daughter; Kelly Hudson and her husband Bill of Saint John, his chosen son; Steven Wills of South Korea, his brother; Roland and his wife Jeanne of Saint John, 3 sisters, Eileen Veinot and her husband Richard of Liverpool, NS, Lois Hewitt and her husband Stanley of Saint John and Phyllis Campbell of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bud was a member of the Carpenter's Union, a former president of the Saint John Drydock Carpenter's Union. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, and he loved his trucks. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), at Bud's request there will be no visitation. The Memorial Service will be from St. Paul's United Church (430 Main St Sussex, NB) on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 2:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
