Obituary of Phyllis Hatt
Mrs. Phyllis Hatt of Mapleton Rd. Moncton and formerly of Saint John passed away at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Saturday, January 21, 2006at the age of 76. Born in Cumberland Bay, NB, on December 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nellie (Clark) Lewis and the wife of Beverly Hatt of Saint John. Phyllis is survived by two brothers; Edward Jr. and his wife Stella of Chipman and Reginald and his wife Mae of Hardwood Ridge, three sisters; Doris Straight and her husband Stephen of Bagdad, Irene Jenkins of Chipman, Ferne Jeffrey of Moncton, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Phyllis is predeceased by two brothers; Lee and Harold and by her sister Violet Thompson. Phyllis worked for Northern Telecom for 20 years and retired in 1989. She enjoyed her trailer at Cambridge Narrows, gardening and cross-stitch. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, and (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held from Abundant Life Pentecostal Church on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Abundant Life Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, January 24th, 2006 at 2:00pm. The interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John. There will be a time of fellowship with the family immediately following the funeral service In lieu of flowers, donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
