Obituary of Frank Vincent
Frank Burlin Vincent of Erb Settlement, NB, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 19, 2006 at the age of 91. Born in Saint John, NB on May 2, 1914, he was the son of the late Burlin and Emily (Carr) Vincent. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Alice (Attoe) Vincent, his son, Gary and his wife Lois of Saint John, his daughter, Heather Stevenson and Charles Turnbull of Erb Settlement, his daughter-in-law, Barb of Fredericton, his brother, Harold and his wife Cora of Saint John, 11 grandchildren, Heather, Ricky, Jody, Terry, Matthew, Paige, Kathy, Angie, Scott, Dale and Suzanne, five great grandchildren; Patrick, Taylor, Danika, Austin and Brooklyn, as well as several nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by a son, Donald and a brother John. Frank was a retired Psychiatric Attendant after 30 years from Saint John Centracare. He was a member of New Brunswick Lodge #22 F&AM Saint John and the Royal Canadian Legion Norton Branch #76. He was acting sergeant with the Royal Canadian Army - RCEME (Royal Canadian Electric Mechanical Engineers). Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Frank's request there will be no visitation. The Memorial Service will be held from Silas James Memorial Church, Intercolonial Drive, Apohaqui on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm. The New Brunswick Lodge #22 F&AM, Saint John and the Royal Canadian Legion Norton Branch #76 will hold tributes Sunday afternoon immediately following the Memorial Service. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the service at the Apohaqui Community Centre. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Sussex Health Centre Palliative Care Unit or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
