Mr. Frank Sterling Alward II was born in Sussex on April 13, 1963; he was the son of the late Frank and Edna (Gregg) Alward. Frank loved fishing, hunting, four wheeling, playing ball, Volleyball and Tennis and spending time with his family; especially his granddaughter, Audrina. Frank will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Yvonne Lavoie; his children: Nicole Alward of Penobsquis and Frank Alward III at home; his stepson, Marshall Lavoie of Fredericton; his sisters: Loretta Maillet and her special friend Don of Moncton, Joyce Hall and her husband Roy of Smiths Creek and Dorothy Wright and her husband Jack of Chipman; his granddaughter, Audrina Anne Marie Alward; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents; two nephews and his niece. Mr. Frank Sterling Alward of Smiths Creek, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 31, 2011 at the age of 48. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Tuesday 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Frank's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, January 04, 2012 at 11:00am. The interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Cornhill, NB As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
