Obituary of Florence Keirstead
Florence Olive Keirstead of Fowler Avenue, Sussex, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on June 29, 2005 at the age of 82.
Born in Collina NB on May 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Hartley and May (Roberts) Keirstead.
Florence was predeceased by her first husband Hartley Odgen who passed away in 1959 and by her second husband Esmond Tabor who passed away in 1986.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Mary Linton and Terry Parlee of Sussex, her step-daughter, Gladys Veysey, her step-son Clifford Tabor both of Sussex, her brother, Merritt Keirstead and his wife Elma of Riverview, her special grandson Kenny Tabor and his children, Raymond, Misty, Meagan of Saint John, 6 grandchildren; Paul Veysey and his wife Lynn of Penobsquis, Judy Doucette and her husband Jerry of Moncton, Shelley Zeuchner and her husband Richard, James Linton and his wife Jacki of Toronto, Lori Richard and Nick Boyd of Sussex, Troy Linton and Melissa Langille of Sussex, 13 great grandchildren; Sabrina, Brandy, Christopher, Fallon, Fawn, April, Cody, David, Joshua, Ryan, Sabrina, Reace, Alex, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Florence was predeceased by three sisters Evelyn, Merle and Grace, two brothers, Charles and Edmund and by her granddaughter, Jessica Smith.
She loved her cat, Patches, her dog, Sandy, she loved to BBQ, her friends, music and she was always there for her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Thursday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Hutton officiating.
Interment at Trinity Cemetery.
There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the funeral service. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
