Mrs. Agnes Tempney Currie of Belleisle Creek Manor passed away at her residence on June 15, 2005 at the age of 97. Born in Halifax NS on October 1, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Amilea (Butt) Gilbert and the beloved wife of the late Stanley H. Currie who passed away in 1975. Agnes is survived by her daughter, Hazel Shillito and her husband Bob of Nelson, BC. her son, Stan and his wife Nancy of Hillsdale, NB, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, as well several nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her sisters, Doris, Vi, Hazel, Pansy and Elsie and by her brothers, Lou, Vic and Bob. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), at Agnes request there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 am, with Rev David Barrett officiating. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family at the Royal Canadian Legion following the committal service.
