Obituary of Kenneth Sherwood
Mr. Kenneth Ashley Sherwood of 6159 Route 111 Jeffries Corner, NB, passed away at his residence, on June 2, 2005 at the age of 77. Born in Poodiac, NB on March 14, 1928, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary Ellen (Hicks) Sherwood. Kenneth is survived by his soul mate Bernadean (Bunny) (Gray) Sherwood, 4 daughters; Sheila Mallory and her husband Bradley of BC, Patsy Sherwood of Hamilton Ontario, Ellen McAleese and her husband Scott of Sussex, and Susan Tracey and her husband Brian of Willow Grove, 2 sons; Mark and his wife Cindy of Jeffries Corner and Blair of Jeffries Corner, his sister, Ardith Robertson of Saint John, 3 brothers; Sterling of Sussex, Myles of Hamilton, Ontario and Reginald of Hamilton, Ontario, 11 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Jocelyn, Meghan, Jeffrey, Tracy, Hillary, Emma, Leslie, Stephanie, Brittney, 5 great grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Devon, Bianca and Dylan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by 2 sisters, Mary and Beulah, and 4 brothers; Douglas, Ivan, Harris and Raymond, Ken was a retired bridge man with Department of Transportation. Ken loved his family, being in the woods, hunting, fishing, playing crib and auction 45. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). The Funeral Service is held from St. Mark's Anglican Church on Sunday at 2:00 pm. The internment will take place in Trinity Cemetery. The Pallbearers are: Jack McKay, Nelson Keirstead, Stephen McFarlane, Edward McLaughlin, Reg Sherwood and Myles Sherwood. The Honorary Pallbearers are: Delbert Adair, Greg Adair, Sterling Sherwood and Gilford Morrell.
