Obituary of Ella Clarke
Nellie Clarke was born in Carbonaire, NFLD on August 6, 1931 she was the daughter of the late John and Sadie (Dorie) Clarke. Nellie was a hard worker her whole life. She worked in restaurants in Cape Breton for many years, but eventually she put all of her time into raising her children. Family was everything to her and she loved all her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was kind and loving and genuinely loved the people in her life. She had a soft spot for animals and especially her little dog.
She will live on in the hearts of her children: Donna Mahoney and her husband Leo of Sussex Corner, Donnie Clarke and Joanne Nuclar of Toronto, Cathy Mallory and her husband Andy of Sussex, Robert and Angie LeBlanc of Moncton, Wanita Mallory of Sussex, Rocky and his wife Carol of Sussex, Vincent and AnnMarie of Foxhill; two step children: Kenny Gilbert of Alberta and Joanne Macleod of NS; as well as several nieces and nephews, her grandchildren: Terry, Sherry, Charlena and Gordon Sararas, Angel, Donnie and Winkie Clarke, Karen and Andrew Mallory, Kim Dunfield and her husband Jared, Marc Bourque, Sabrina, Jennifer, Jenny, Star, Elvis, Santana, Shea-Lynn, Mikell, Brandon, Blaine, Vincent, Chad, Ryan and Carrie Lee Mallory; her great grandchildren: Kyle, Ben, Samantha, Sarah, Duska, Kylia, Keesha, Patience, Matthew, Scotty, Adelaide and Daniel Dunfield, Tyson Gaudet and Destiny and Victorya Mallory; her great great grandson.
Nellie is predeceased by her son, Michael who passed away in 1984 a granddaughter, Shaundalee, great grandson, Tyrel Mallory; her children's father, Bobby Mallory who passed away in 2008 and by her infant grandson.
Ella "Nellie" Lorina Clarke passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at the age of 80.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home 34 Sunnyside Dr. Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176. Visitation will be held from Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, Main st. Sussex on Friday December 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Nellie's Life at 4;00pm. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to the Living Memorial would be appreciated at the family.
