Obituary of Harris Proctor
Mr. Harris Delbert Proctor of Pearsonville passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the age of 50, following a brief fight with cancer. Born in Sussex on September 8, 1954, he was the son of Murray Proctor of Sussex and the late Elizabeth (Mallory) Proctor who passed away in 2001. He is survived by his father, his daughter; Kelly Ollivier and her husband Brian of Sussex, his son Scott Proctor of Havelock, 2 sisters; Vi Purcell and her husband Ken of Enfield, NS, Eileen McShane and Earl Hall of Parleeville, his brother; Cecil and his wife Wendy of Belleville, Ont. 5 grandchildren; Kody, Brady, Kassidy, MacKenzie and Riley, his special pal Nicky who never left his side, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Harris was a self employed carpenter most of his life, he was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20, and he loved camping and Martin Head. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a Tribute Monday evening at 6:45. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 11:00 am. We, the family are truly thankful for the time we had with him. He will be dearly missed. We will always love you Dad.
