She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, a Brownie leader, a member of Pythian Lodge in Sussex and was a member of the Waterford Gems L.O.B.A. # 1407 of which she was a charter member. Alice enjoyed snowmobiling with Harold, friends and family. Besides Harold and her children her other love was 'Lady' her dachshund. She loved to go shopping and finding a good sale. She enjoyed her home and redecorating and was always rearranging rooms or getting Harold to build something different for her. Alice loved listening to Country music. She always loved ice cream (especially Hot Fudge sundaes) and little drives, especially around Sussex and Sussex Corner to see all the changes that had developed since she came here with Harold after the Second World War. If you went to Saint John or Moncton for a drive or 'shopping' she always like to go to Deluxe for fish and chips, but you always stopped for ice cream at some stand before you went home.
