Mr. David Harold Coates of Newtown, NB, passed away at Moncton Hospital, 135 MacBeth Avenue on January 20, 2005 at the age of 65. David was born in Newtown, NB on June 16, 1939, he was the son of the late James and Nettie (Robinson) Coates. David is survived by his beloved wife Linda (Gregg) Coates, 3 children, Nancy Ferguson and her husband Walter of Newtown, David and his wife Cynthia of Havelock, Leonard and his wife Tanya of Salisbury, his brother, Gordon and his wife Rena of Hamilton, Ontario, 6 grandchildren: Walter Jr., Nancy, Sarah, Jacob, Zoe and Blake, as well as several nieces and nephews. David was a retired labourer, he enjoyed fishing, wood working and playing guitar. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Saturday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, January 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
