Obituary of Arthur Cromwell
Mr. Arthur Lee Cromwell of Hunter's Home, New Brunswick passed away at Sussex Health Centre on December 4, 2004 at the age of 80. Born in Hunters Home, New Brunswick on September 7, 1924, he was the son of the late Issac Brian and Vine (Morton) Cromwell. Art is survived by his beloved wife Muriel (Horsman) Cromwell, his Daughter; Debbie Prosser and her husband Gerry of Petitcodiac, 2 Sons Brian Lee and his wife Margo Adair of Sussex, Richard Allan James and his wife Debbie of Riverview, 2 Sisters; Annie Belle Beck and her husband Walter of Coles Island, Dorin Kierstead and her husband Ralph of Collina, 2 Brothers Hanford and his wife Margaret of Miramichi City, King and his wife Barbara of Kenora, Ont. 5 Grandchildren; Jeremy, Andrea, Jennifer, Jayme, and Carissa, 3 step grandchildren; Krista, Brandon, Aharon, 3 Great Grandchildren; Eric, Megan, Cody, 2 step grandchildren; Brandon and Travis, as well as several nieces and nephews and a very special niece Sheila Jolly and her husband Michael of Goolwa, Australia. Art was predeceased by 5 Brothers; Oliver who passed away in 1934, Wellington who was killed in action in Ortona, Italy in 1943, Jason who passed away in 1974, Ernest who passed away in 1990 and Seth who passed away in 1996,and by his sister Lilly Callaghan who passed away in 2000. Art served overseas during WWII with the Carleton York Regiment, First Division, in England, North Africa, Algiers, Sicily and Italy.
