Obituary of Lloyd Armstrong
Mr. Lloyd Edgar Armstrong of Sussex, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on November 25, 2004 at the age of 81. Lloyd was born in Jefferies Corner, N.B on October 16, 1923, he was the son of the late Edgar A. and Sarah (McFarland) Armstrong. Lloyd is survived by his brother. Curtis and wife Joan of Sussex Corner; his sister, Ruth Armstrong of Moncton, his sister-in-law, Edith Armstrong of Salisbury, 3 nephews, Wayne and his wife Brenda of Petitcodiac, Ron and his wife Carolyn of Salisbury and David and his wife Faye of Petitcodiac, 2 nieces Diane Lawson and her husband Wes of Riverview and Gail McLeod and her husband Brent of Salisbury, as well as several cousins and great nieces and nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Alton. Lloyd was a retired farmer and a member of Trinity Anglican Church. His most recent passion was his work with Londonderry Anglican Church. He enjoyed going for drives, hooking rugs, and taking long walks with his dog Sheba. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Friday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00 am with Rev. David Barrett Officiating. A Private Family committal service will take place at Trinity Cemetery. Following the committal service, there will be a time of fellowship with the family in the Church Hall.
