Mrs. Josephine Evelyn Dunfield of Penobsquis, NB passed away at Sussex Health Centre on August 17, 2004 at the age of 79. Born in Penobsquis on October 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Bernetta (Fleming) McLeod and the beloved wife of the late Havelock Russell Dunfield who passed away in 1998. Josephine is survived by 4 sons, Mike and Patricia of Sussex, Danny and Mary Ellen of Bangor, Maine, David and Lynda of Fort St. John, BC, Karl and Shirley of North Rustico, PEI., her brother William and his wife Audrey of Montreal, 3 sisters, Mildred Shannon of Urney, Ella MacLeod of Penobsquis and Elizabeth O'Laughlin and her husband George of Charlottetown, 14 grand-children; Paul Gamble, Jason Oxby, Drew, Craig, Darryl, Jerrod, Joel, Bridget, Jenna, Joseph, Logan, Sasha, and Nevin Dunfield, 5 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Josephine was predeceased by her son Joseph who passed away in 1979, her daughter Joanne who passed away in 1969, her brother Norman MacLeod who passed away in 1994 and by his wife Melba who passed away in 2004.
