Obituary of Elizabeth Hall
Elizabeth Ivy (Betty) Hall, of York Manor, Fredericton, New Brunswick, passed away at her residence on July 14, 2004 at the age of 90. Betty was born in Newcastle, England on January 24, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Trevithick) Thaxter. Betty was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Joseph Hall who passed away in 1972 and by her second husband, Lloyd Warren Hall who passed away in 1989. Betty is survived by her daughter, Norma Brice of Melbourne, Australia, her son, Edward (Ted) and his wife Lois of Fredericton, a half brother, Jack Liddle and his wife Joann of Penobsquis, a sister, Ethel Hall of Sussex, a half-sister, Clara Levesque of Sussex Corner, 2 grandchildren, Beverley Ann and Laurence, 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Mitchell and Ryan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by 2 brothers, Thomas and Norman, a half brother, Fred Liddle, a half-sister, Kathleen Doucette and her son-in-law, George Brice. Betty was a member of the Sussex United Baptist Church, a past member of the Sussex United Baptist Church Choir and was an avid crafter and gardener. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Friday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Benson and Pastor Brad Liddle officiating with the interment following at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, NB.
