Obituary of Lois Mitton
Mrs. Lois Eileen Mitton, of Picadilly, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on July 7, 2004, at the age of 63. Lois was born in Saint John, NB on May 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Stella Irene (Mercer) Hodgin. Lois is survived by her beloved husband Walter Harold Mitton, her daughters, Karen Craft and her husband Blake of Cody's, Cindy Critchley and Deb of Quispamsis, her son, Kevin Mitton and Mary Ann Steeves of Sussex, 4 granddaughters; Tracy, Shanna, Alicia and Candace, her grandson, Justin, her great grandson, Wyatt, her sister, Joyce Sanford and her friend Bud of Chestnut, her brother, Clifford Hodgin and his wife Kate of New Line, as well as several nieces and nephews Lois was retired employee of Barbour Foods. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20 Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed knitting, sewing, clogging and darts. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Thursday 2-4,7-9. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 1:00 pm with Jeanette Cosman, Staff Associate Minister officiating, the interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations made to a Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
