Obituary of John MacKenzie
Mr. (JACK) John Johnson MacKenzie of Mechanic Lake, NB, passed away at his residence on June 25, 2004 at the age of 68. Born in Moncton, NB on July 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Ora and Mamie (Stultz) MacKenzie. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy (Goddard) MacKenzie, 3 daughters; Ann Carson and her husband Royden of Havelock, Linda Dixon and her husband Wayne of Mechanic Settlement, Diane Little and Bob Phillips of Moncton, his brother; Stuart MacKenzie and his wife Peg of Riverview, NB, 3 sisters; Torry Hawthorne and her husband Fred of Riverview, Joan Robichaud and her husband Omer of Moncton, Jean Sim and her husband Jim of California, 7 grandchildren; Kevin, Tracy, Paul, Stephen Darryl, Chris, Ryan, 9 great grandchildren; Amber, Amanda, Katie, Natalie, Ava, Brandon, Jordan, Taylor and Ethan, as well as several nieces and nephews and a close friend Byron Vickers. Jack was predeceased by 2 brothers; Donald and Harold and by his sister Doris Morrell and by his grandson Adam who passed away in 1978. Jack was a retired employee of the Moncton Hospital. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed being in the woods, he loved to hunt, fish and four wheeling. If anyone said lets go four wheeling he was gone. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Funeral Home Ltd. on Sunday, June 27, 2004 at 2:00 pm.
