Obituary of Ralph Tranton
Mr. Ralph Samuel Tranton of Arnold Ave. Sussex, New Brunswick passed away at his residence on June 6, 2004 at the age of 95. Born in Lincoln, Maine on December 14, 1908, Ralph was the son of the late Samuel and Annie Mae (Scott) Tranton. Ralph is survived by Florence M. (Pettinger) his beloved wife of 61 years, 2 sisters, Ina M. Rines of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Ferne Swanson of Freeport, Maine, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by 2 brothers Ernest and Kenneth and by 2 sisters Della and June. Ralph was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and a former member of the Golden 'K' Club. He served overseas in WWII Royal Army with the Princess Louise Fusiliers. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm The Funeral Service will be from Trinity Anglican Church on Wednesday, June 9th, 2004 at 2:00pm. The interment will be at Kirk Hill Cemetery. The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 will hold a tribute Tuesday evening at 6:45pm.
