Obituary of Vida Cunningham

Mrs. Vida Muriel Cunningham of Kiwanis Nursing Home and formerly of McGreggor Brook Rd., Mt. Hebron, NB passed away at her residence on May 28, 2004 at the age of 90. Born in Searsville NB on February 7, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Amelia C. (Lockhart) Hayes and the beloved wife of the late Charles Curtis Cunningham who passed away in 1977. Vida is survived by her son Winsor Cunningham and his wife Frances of Belleisle Creek, her daughter Ruth Brown and her husband Glenn of Mt. Hebron, 2 sisters; Ida Higgins of Sussex Corner, Ethel Ireland of London Ont. 9 grandchildren; Cindy Boyd and her husband Andrew, Kim Fulford and her husband Brad, Tracy McLellan and her husband Peter, Brent Munro and his wife Lynn, Lorilee Parlee and her husband Steve, Kelly Munro and Al McLellan, Jenna Munro, Rachel and Scott Brown, 11 Great grandchildren; Jody, Kory, Kaylee, Baleigh, Kurtis, Jessica, John, Brently, Tyler, Shianna and Makayla, as well as several nieces and nephews. Vida was predeceased by her daughter Marguerite Otis, her brother Everett Hayes and an infant sister Cecila. Vida was very loving, loyal, warm, and deep, caring and her family always came first. She grew up on a farm in Searsville, spoke of milking cows by hand, washing clothes on a wash board and lugging water from the well, but her love was their fast little horse that they used hitched to a cart
