Mr. George Jasper Patterson, of Roachville, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on May 9, 2004 at the age of 71. Born in Knightville, NB on March 15, 1933, he was the son of the late Martin and Ada May (Mallory) Patterson. George is survived by Jean Alice (Parlee) Patterson his beloved wife of 49 years, 3 daughters, Mary Lou and her husband Gregg of Lower Millstream, Janet Greene and her husband Doug of Saint John, Sheila Fanjoy and her husband Oscar of Waterford, 2 brothers, Gerald and his wife Rita, Roy and his wife Dale, all of Sussex, his sister, Marguerite Komazic of Oshawa, 5 grandchildren, Stephanie, Rianna, Amber, Maggie and Brian, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. George was predeceased by 2 sisters, Viola and Madeline and by 2 brothers Simon and Alan. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be from Lower Millstream United Church on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 11:00 am with Rev. Linda Fuller officiating. A private family interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family at Berwick Recreation Centre following the service. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Sussex Health Centre Dialysis Fund, the Kidney Foundation or to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
