Obituary of Harry Anderson
Mr. Harry James Anderson, of Vernon, BC and formerly of Sussex, passed away at Hospice House on April 23, 2004 at the age of 79. Born in Sussex, NB on May 23, 1924, he was the son of the late William John and Mabel Rosella (Cunningham) Anderson. Harry is survived by 3 sisters June Tabor, Laura Wilkins and Irene Dalling and by a brother Oscar, all of Sussex, NB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews; Anne Livingstone, Bill, John, Arnold and Donald Anderson, Lorraine Pollock, Walter Tabor, Marilyn Wynn, Shirley McLeod, Enid Adair, Ruth Parker, Eugene, Doug and Norma Dalling all of Sussex, Patricia Anderson, Christina Graves, Janice Oram, Heather and Jamie Anderson all of Saint John, Stella Keays of Fredericton, John Smith of Belleisle Creek, Elaine Gossline of Oromocto, William Dalling of Vernon, BC, Predeceased by his brothers Edgar, Curtis and Earl, Brothers-in-Law, Harry Wilkins and Reginald Tabor and by 2 nephews, Ronnie Wilkins and Ashley Dalling. Harry moved to BC in 1956 and to Vernon in 1958 and worked for the department of highways until his retirement in 1988. He was a hard worker and loved to garden. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Monday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the committal at St. John's United Church Hall.
