Obituary of Foster Perry

Mr. Foster Ivan Perry of Sussex, NB, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on April 18, 2004 at the age of 86.

Born in Perry Settlement, NB on April 19, 1917, he was the son of the late Renwick J. and Margaret (Daiginoc) Perry.

He was a member of Kitchener Lodge LOL #167 Lower Millstream and a retired farmer and worked on construction.

Foster is survived by Margaret Martha (Garland) Perry his beloved wife of 61 years. 2 daughters Mary Bell and her husband Harold of Sussex, Doris Melvin and her husband Spencer of Smith Creek, 3 sons Vernon and his wife Jamma of Westfield, Gordon and his wife Linda of Saint John, Wayne and his wife Connie Kierstead Mt., 2 sisters Greta Bennett of Peterborough, Ont. Alice Price of Rothesay, NB, his brother Garfield and his wife Shirley of Sussex, 15 grandchildren; Heather, Kevin, Ruth, Beth, Earl, Stella, Lisa, Andrew, Delena, Charlene, Peter, Dougie, Jennifer, Roger, Marlene, Erica, 18 great grandchildren; Amy, Nicole, Keifer, Kameron, Annika, Katelyn, Jonathan, Christopher, Kyle, Kelly, Jedediah, Briar, Evan, Jonah, Korrina, Jerrica, Ashley, Brett, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Foster was predeceased by his son Ivan, his brother Clifford, his sister Marjorie and his step mother Carrie (Keith) Perry.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be from Berwick United Church on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Linda Fuller officiating. Interment at Wesley United Cemetery. There will be a time of fellowship with the family following the committal service at the Berwick Recreation Hall.
